We will start the day with the pickup from your hotel or hostel (only from the historic center). Once all have been gathered, our first point of the visit will be the Salinas y Aguada Blanca National Reserve for the sighting of South American camelids and wild flora. In addition, in the Patahuasi sector, we will have time to take the Mate Inka to adapt to the height. Then we will continue to the Stone Forest of Imata. We will start the walk of approximately 40min in the forest of stones accompanied by a landscape that has no comparison with the sighting of capricious rocks where your imagination and fun will have no limits. Continuing the tour, we will go to the Pillones waterfall. Upon arriving we will observe the incredible waterfalls where we will have the opportunity to descend towards the same waterfall, there we will take magnificent photos and enjoy nature and enjoy our snack or lunch(optional). Finally, we will return to the city of Arequipa, approximate arrival between 04:30 pm to 5:00 pm.

1.- I am staying at the time of booking the tour, What should I do?

The agency only does pick up from hotels or hostels that are in the historic center, it’s not possible to pick up from houses or apartments. Choose the closest alternative to the place where you stay and be ready there at the time of the tour.

The Pillones waterfall is approximately 4300 meters above sea level, a sunny climate with a little wind.

  •  CHANGES: It is FREE to change the tour date before 6:00 pm (Lima time) the day before the tour begins.
  • NO SHOWS & CANCELLATIONS: If you cancel the day prior to the tour before 6:00 pm (Lima time) or earlier, a 10% administration fee will apply. After this time, there is a 100% no-show or cancellation fee.
  • You must email office@peru-expeditions.org (include the name of the tour and the reservation number) to cancel this tour or to make any changes.
